Walking holiday on the
Coleridge Way
in Somerset in the UK
Enjoy
a self-guided walking holiday on the 36 mile Coleridge Way through some
of Somerset's most spectacular countryside. You pass through the Quantock
Hills, the Brendon Hills and Exmoor, the landscape which inspired Coleridge
to produce some of his best work.
The
route starts in Nether Stowey in the Quantock Hills where Coleridge lived
for 3 years, and makes its way through a variety of landscapes - heathland,
moorland, woodland, farmland, valleys and villages, until it reaches the
north coast at Porlock.
